OUR STORY
My journey as an independent designer began in 2009 after the market crashed and the architecture and interior design field suffered dramatically. I was able to secure projects with a local architect focusing on smaller ground up buildings until a previous contractor called me looking to renovate a lobby of an iconic building in Midland Texas. This was a huge project which required a licensed architect. Together we flew out to meet our new clients, during which it was a matter of sifting through dusty storage rooms to gather old construction documents to piece together enough information for me to create an “as built” base plan to start with. We all collaborated remotely—phone calls, emails, Zoom meetings—long before it became the industry norm. I was entrusted with creating detailed construction drawings, developing concept boards, and sourcing products for this incredible project. What really made this project successful was the client’s request to add regional artwork to the lobby. I was able to commission a renowned watercolorist to join me in touring Midland to discover its hidden mysteries which supported its history and success as the booming oil town it is today. Over the succeeding years many of my previous connections have contacted me to produce designs and construction documents for large fabulous hotels, ranging from meeting rooms, guestrooms and restaurants commercial buildings & healthcare and more. That experience shaped the designer I am today. It taught me the importance of precision, efficiency, and clear communication—skills I now bring to every firm I support.

What We Offer

PROGRAMMING SPACES
Programming is a mathematical method to determine how much space is required. During information gathering interviews employees and support spaces are quantified. The program can also help set office and company standards if those have not been addressed in previous office spaces. The client's Program is a tool that can also forecast requirements for growth or the reduction of space over months or years. In turn, space plans can illustrate these changes. Office space is expensive. Studies by JJL have shown office space alone can cost $5-15K annually per employee depending on geographics and amenities.
SPACE PLANNING
Creative Space Planning can address a myriad of different work and collaboration styles. Identifying what is best for your company and employees is what we do best. A successful plan optimizes workspaces for maximum productivity, arranges departments and people for the best adjacency which can heighten employee's state of mind. There is no argument that happy employees are better and more productive than those that are frustrated. So lets put together an innovated and inspiring space which promotes collaboration and engagement to help elevate employee moral!
